Our engineering group includes planning, estimating, drafting, and NC programming. Damar Aerosystems uses state-of-the-art CAD/CAM systems to keep up with industry standards and to provide excellent quality and continued support throughout the manufacturing process.
DPD / MBD
Our CAD/CAM Quality System is customer approved with digital product definition, model–based definition, and reduced dimension drawing use.
CAD
Our CAD capabilities include the latest versions of CATIA V5, Siemens (Unigraphics) NX, Striker Systems Sheet Metal CAD/CAM and Nesting, Vericut, Mastercam, and other software providing quality support and modeling of solid–based part design, detailing, surface design, and drafting configurations.
Programming
NC programming is accomplished through the use of the latest version of Siemens (Unigraphics) NX CAM or Striker Systems Sheet Metal CAD/CAM and Nesting software providing reliable 2– through 5–axis tool paths.
Simulation
Machine simulation and NC verification are performed using the latest version of Vericut and Siemens (Unigraphics) NX Simulation software to capture issues before they reach the NC Machine.
